Community Projects

Active Tots

Sessions run in Bognor Regis and Chichester.

We have Multiskills and Football focused sessions and in Autumn 2023 we have lots planned to ensure even more pre-schoolers can be active with us.

By encouraging young children (2 – 5yrs) to enjoy a range of physical activities and experiences – supported by a parent or carer – we aim to support the development of a positive attitude to being active which will remain with the individual throughout their life.

Our excellent coaches understand the developmental needs of these youngsters, and appropriate activities are always well planned, whilst ensuring flexibility to meet the needs of each child.

Friday Night Football

Sessions run in Bognor Regis (5-11yrs) and Horsham (5-12yrs)

Having positive, fun sporting experiences from an early age enables girls and boys to develop the skills they need not only for football, but also in many sporting activities. Providing them with a firm foundation for future competitive sport supports development of a community ethos.

Sessions always include skills training and matchplay, but also may include working with a partner, or as part of a small team, understanding how to communicate appropriately, learning to compete within the rules, expectations of game play, and good sportsmanship.

Girls Football sessions

Both in our partner schools and the community we have always been a driving force in providing girls football opportunities. We run Girls Only Football days during school holidays and you can sign up to our Newsletter to be kept up to date with all things girls football related in Sussex. Click here to find out more and book your place at our next sessions.

Community Basketball sessions

Running during the Spring & Summer outside at The Arena, Bognor Regis. These sessions will move into the Phoenix centre for Autumn/Winter 2023.

Sessions support skills development at an appropriate level to ensure all participants have an enjoyable experience.

Valuable, transferable skills, such as co-operation and sportsmanship enhance the experience for all the individuals who participate in this community project.
